Overview
Summary
The Green River Project, is a royalty-free uranium exploration property located in Emery County, Utah. Covering approximately 1,100 acres across 55 lode mining claims in the San Rafael Mining District, the project sits within the Acerson Mineral Belt and directly adjacent to Western Uranium and Vanadium’s San Rafael Project. The district is well known for its uranium endowment, with more than 9 million pounds of U3O8 historically identified across multiple deposits.
Location and Geology
The project is underlain by the Salt Wash Member of the Morrison Formation, the host unit for all known uranium deposits in the district. Formed within an ancient, braided stream system, the Salt Wash offers excellent permeability and pathways for mineralizing fluids. The units dip shallowly to the east, with Gamma’s claims covering ground down-dip of historical mineralized zones that were largely unexplored by earlier operators. Within the broader district, historic deposits such as Deep Gold, Down Yonder, and Sahara highlight the proven fertility of the belt.
Exploration
Historic work across the Green River claims includes extensive drilling and documented uranium mineralization within the Salt Wash Member of the Morrison Formation. Reconnaissance efforts have already confirmed the presence of open historic collars suitable for downhole gamma logging, and Gamma has now mobilized a technical field team to complete a detailed airborne survey across all 41 claims. This program is designed to identify additional historic boreholes, support the development of an initial resource estimate, and guide future staking in the surrounding area.
Work is underway, with completion of the airborne survey and data interpretation expected by year end 2025 (Figure 1). These results will help define priority targets for follow up exploration and land acquisition, positioning Green River as a highly prospective asset within one of Utah’s most historically productive uranium districts.
